Studio Terms and Conditions
Pre-Purchased Gift Cards
Gift cards must be used by the recipient only. Gift cards will automatically be voided after their expiry date (one year). Your gift card’s expiry date will be listed in the initial “congratulations” email. Any unused balances cannot be refunded for cash and gift cards cannot be reloaded with new funds. If the gift card expires, the value of it cannot be refunded or credited.
These gift cards can be used for custom artworks (commissions) or any of the other products advertised on DMAC STUDIOS website.
Gift cards cannot be replaced if lost or damaged.
A gift card cannot be used to pay any sort of deposit or retainer fee. A gift card cannot be used to pay the non-refundable holding deposit on commissioned artworks.
Promotional Gift Cards (Giveaways)
Gift cards must be used by the recipient only. Gift cards will automatically be voided after their expiry date (3 - 6 months depending on the promotion). You will have your expiry date listed in the original “congratulations” email. Any unused balances cannot be refunded for cash and gift cards cannot be reloaded with new funds. If the gift card expires, the value of it cannot be refunded or credited.
These gift cards can ONLY be used on custom artworks (commissions) and are to be used as a DISCOUNT. If you have received a gift card through an online giveaway, the gift card cannot be used as the sole fund for a commission. This means that you cannot request to redeem a product for only the total cost of your gift card.

Please note that gift cards received from a giveaway (through the official Instagram account @dmac.art) will occasionally have exclusive deals for large season events. If applicable, you will receive an email with such details. These gift cards have separate rules and exclusions from the gift cards purchased through our online shop.

Commissioned Artworks
Quotes for commissioned artworks must be processed either through the Dmac Studios website or alternatively through direct messages on Dmac Studios platforms. ALL quotes have a 60 day “pending period”. This means that after 2 months of your quote being delivered to your allocated email address, it will expire and no longer be valid. This is due to the fact Dmac Studios holds no responsibility if our stockists change the pricing of their products, swap out or remove certain stocked items. Dmac Studios cannot guarantee stock availability after the pending period of 60 days. If an order is not placed within this time, you will need to apply for a new quote.
Once the client’s order is confirmed, you will receive regular updates on your artwork. The client’s purchase will not be delivered until their total invoice is completely paid off. Dmac Studios can offer shipping services on certain products, however, it is not recommended for most. Please consult with Dmac Studios to arrange a pick up directly through Danielle to ensure the safety of the new investment. The client will be able to inspect the goods upon collection, if the client is then satisfied, from that moment onwards our studio is not liable nor responsible for any damages to the goods. Subject to the client’s location, they may incur an extra delivery fee. This will be communicated to the client within their initial personalised quote.
Payments of Commissioned Artworks
A gift card cannot be used to pay any sort of deposit or retainer fee. To confirm your order with Dmac Studios, we do require a 25% deposit of your artwork totalling cost. This is a non-refundable deposit, as it confirms your order and we begin the process of creating your artwork straight away. If you choose to cancel your order after the deposit has been made, your deposit will act as a “cancellation fee” and compensation for the materials already gathered. After the non-refundable deposit is paid, the remaining balance can be paid either in full or split into smaller instalments. Dmac Studios can offer clients an interest-free payment plan and the details of which are negotiable with the artist. Artworks WILL NOT be delivered until the client’s invoice is complete. Please note that custom artworks cannot be refunded due to a change of mind. When Danielle hands the artwork over to the client, the client has the right to inspect it. If the client is satisfied, Danielle is no longer liable for any damages that may happen to the artwork and it is entirely the client’s responsibility.
Digital Prints
Please note, any transactions made through Dmac Studios website have a $15.50 shipping fee, and depending on your order quantity this price may vary, If the client is eligible, this fee can be used as a travel fee to have the artwork directly delivered to the client by the artist and Danielle will reach out to the client personally to inform them of their eligibility. Delivering the artwork in person is our first preference as we can guarantee the safety of your artwork through delivery. We do take precautions to ensure our frames are produced and secured adequately for shipping, however, if any damage occurs through the transition of the third party courier, Danielle is not liable for the damages or any lost goods. A tracking number will be supplied to the client for their order. Regardless of the transportation option the client chooses, the travel fee is non-refundable. Upon confirmation of the order, clients will also have the option to “pick up”. This is free of charge, however, the client must travel to the location Danielle sends them. Chosen locations are either within Clyde North or Narre Warren (Melbourne, Vic, Australia)
Refunds
Dmac Studios does not offer refunds for change of mind on custom products and artworks. These artworks are personalised and custom made to suit the design needs of each individual client. As our client, you will have a platform to voice your opinions and thoughts throughout all of Danielle’s processes. However, if you later change your mind midway through a project and decide you no longer want it, you are not eligible for a refund as we have already invested time and supplies into the creation of the artwork/products.
Every new order requires a confirmation deposit of 25% of your artwork/product’s total cost. This deposit is NON REFUNDABLE. This is because the very minute you confirm the details with Danielle, she will begin gathering the supplies and prepping/planning the artwork. Once your custom order is confirmed, we blocked out the necessary dates in our booking schedule and refuse to book other commissions during the same timeline. This is so Danielle can dedicate her full attention to your artwork/products, ensuring they are perfect and exactly how your heart desires.
Danielle will personally deliver all artworks unless arranged otherwise. Upon delivery of your artwork/product, you will have the right to inspect the goods and make sure you are satisfied with the quality. If you are not satisfied, Danielle will amend the artwork/product to your satisfaction. If happy and content with the services and quality, once Danielle hands over the goods to the client she is no longer liable for anything that happens to it. Dmac Studios is not liable for any damage or change of mind. You will have the information relevant to preserving and maintaining the quality of the artwork/products provided to you by Danielle, how ever it is not our responsibility to ensure you upkeep those instructions, You are investing in unique art pieces, please treat them with care.

Terms and Conditions for Photography Sessions
Booking Fee: A non-refundable booking fee, as specified in the agreed package, is required to secure the services of the Photographer. This fee must be paid by the Client before services can commence. The booking fee will be applied towards the total package price.
The Photographer reserves the right to withhold delivery of images and products until all necessary fees, including the full payment for the chosen package and any additional purchases, have been received. In the event that the client fails to make a payment by the due date, a late fee of $99 will be incurred for each day that the payment is overdue. Late fees will continue to accrue until the outstanding payment, including any applicable late fees, is received in full. The photographer reserves the right to withhold or reschedule any services until all outstanding payments, including late fees, are settled.
Cancellation and Rescheduling: In the event the Client needs to cancel or reschedule the photography session, they must provide notice to the Photographer at least 2 days notice prior to the scheduled session. If notice is not given within this timeframe, the booking fee will be forfeited. Special Consideration may be available upon the photographers discretion.
Model Release: The Client consents to the use of their images by the Photographer for promotional purposes, including but not limited to online portfolios, social media, marketing materials, and competitions. If the Client wishes to keep their images private, they must inform the Photographer in writing before the session takes place.
Editing Restrictions: The Client agrees not to edit or alter the final images provided by the Photographer. The Photographer invests time and expertise in post-processing to ensure the highest quality and consistent style. Any alteration or editing of the final images, including but not limited to filters, cropping, or altering the colours, is strictly prohibited without the Photographer's prior written consent.
Social Media Usage: The Client agrees to credit and tag the Photographer in every post on social media platforms where the images provided by the Photographer are used. The Photographer's social media handles and/or business name shall be clearly mentioned in the caption or accompanying text of each post.
Client's Usage Rights: The Client is granted a personal, non-exclusive license to use the final images for personal purposes only. The Client may print, share, and display the images for personal use, but may not sell or use the images for commercial purposes without the Photographer's written consent.
Product Returns and Exchanges: In the event that a product is found to be defective or damaged upon delivery, the Client must notify the Photographer within 7 days of receiving the product/s. The Photographer will make reasonable efforts to rectify the issue by providing a replacement product or offering a refund. Returns or exchanges are subject to the Photographer's discretion.
